Meet Mrs. Chynell
Ms. Chynell is the owner and founder of Curious Learners Academy. She has over 15 years of experience in early childhood and studied Interdisciplinary Studies at Norfolk State University. Mrs. Chynell is a very active member in her community and coaches for two AAU Track teams in the area and has always known she wanted to work with children. After working with a few childcare facilities in the area she gained much knowledge to branch out on her own. Curious Learners Academy is not just an in-home daycare, it's also your child's home away from home. Mrs. Chynell wants to make sure each child that steps through her doors leaves with self confidence, willingness to learn and has the academic foundation to be successful.
Meet Ms. Wilma
Ms. Wilma has her degree from the Medical Careers Institute. She comes to Curious Learners Academy with over five years of early childhood experience. She is a mother of three children and after learning how to teach her own children she knew she wanted to help other children be successful as well. She came to CLA as an assistant and she also is our school nurse. With her background in nursing she insures the well being of each student here at CLA. Ms. Wilma is very passionate and loves working with each individual student.
