Infant/Toddler Preschool Program
The Infant/Toddler program is designed for your active and curious child. Your child will have freedom of movement and self-awareness. Your child will be loved and cared for so that they can develop at their own pace. They will be working on social skills, problem solving skills, we create developmentally appropriate activities and learning experiences that will keep your child engaged and safe. By keeping class sizes small our teachers are able to get to know each child, learn their interests and plan developmentally appropriate activites such as; painting, water and sand play, book exploration, manipulative play, small group experiences and group circle times. All of these experiences will pave the way for your child(ren) in their path towards lifelong learning.
Transitional Kindergarten Program
With Kindergarten less than a year away your little one does not feel so little anymore. They have grown from curious little learners into curious scholars. We establish the stability and consistency your scholar needs with more structured lessons and regular routines. This will better prepare them for the school environment. Classroom learning centers and materials are altered weekly to correlate to the learning plan, and sustain student's interest and involvement. There will be more structured lessons to insure cognitive development, language and physical understanding. We will also focus on your child's social and emotional development. This will help each child learn how to cope with daily life, which will allow an easy transition into problem solving, critical thinking, group lessons etc. At Curious Learners Academy we will over prepare your child for Kindergarten allowing your scholar a smooth transition into school with self confidence and a strong academic foundation that will help each child reach their true potential.
Two/Three Year Old Preschool Program
Here at Curious Learners Academy we call your two/three year old's curious learners. We understand how challenging yet rewarding this stage of a child's life can be. We will transition your child into our program by planning mini table top developmental appropriate activities and lessons. The Two/Three Year Old Program will focus more on your child's cognitive development, social and emotional, speech and language, fine and gross motors skills through; table top lessons, manipulatives, books, music, finger plays, nursery rhymes and circle time etc. We will assist with each child's development through a daily routine which allows repetition to enhance learning.
