Foreign Language and American Sign Language Classes
In addition to the developmental activities and lessons that are integrated into the classroom curriculum, we are extremely fortunate to be able to offer enrichment classes for every student. These classes are taught in a group setting by resource teachers specially trained to work with children in these areas. All of our curious learners take foreign language classes that are taught in an engaging way for kids to learn foreign languages.
Computer Literacy
With the rapid pace of technological development and change in today’s society, it is important that technology plays a role in your child’s education. Every day more and more applications, programs and software are being created for tablets, computers and phones, although many of these are not valuable for your child there are a lot of apps that provide and teach valuable information for your preschool child to learn necessary life skills.Therefore, all of our students gain free access to ABC Mouse. ABC Mouse is a program that will work hand in hand with your child's daily development and curriculum. ABC Mouse is a fun way to reinforce your child's daily learning.
Safe Zone
Here at Curious Learners Academy we want to make sure all of our students understand how important their safety is. We offer each child stranger danger classes starting with our 2 year old program. Safe Zone teaches a complete safety plan that includes mental, emotional, and physical skill responses. These are skills that all individuals can readily access in a scary and or dangerous situation.The Safe Zone program, will teach the children about boundaries and body instinct so that they can remove themselves from any kind of harmful situation when they need to seek help.
